Core-spun yarn, often called rug yarn can be used for much more than just rugs.
These “bumps” of super soft, super bulky rug yarn are usually made from a blend of alpaca and wool fibers, spun around a cotton core. It is a wonderful variegated, chunky yarn!
These beautiful yarns can be used for rugs, chairs pads, fiber arts, baskets, handbags, place mats and coasters and more. They can be knit into blankets or scarves using large needles or hooks, and are perfect for peg looms. Let your imagination run wild with this yarn!
This is a jumbo yarn with approximately 2 wraps per inch. Each bump varies in weight and yardage. See individual listings. Please note - due to hand made nature of this product variations in color and thickness are possible. One skein (80-100 yards) knits up in 2-3 hours.
