A Big Thanks to everyone who stopped by!  We almost sold out of the yarn we dyed for the yarn tour, but have plenty of  natural.  GOOD NEWS - we should be able to dye some more next week.

  • July 1 (Wednesday) – July Yarn Tour Opens!

  • All Month Long – Make-It-Take-It Activity: Needle Felt a Lavender Sachet ($10, no registration required, drop in anytime during shop hours).

  • Shepherd’s Gate Fiber Mill Tours - Ever wonder how a dirty, raw fleece straight from a sheep becomes a gorgeous, squishable skein of yarn or a fluffy cloud or roving? We can't wait to show you how the magic happens. The Best Part: Your $10 ticket automatically turns into a $10 coupon valid for any in-store retail purchase at Especially For Ewe on the day of your tour! - See below for dates.   • July 7 (Tuesday) – Shepherd’s Gate Fiber Mill Tour
    • Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
    • Cost: $10 (Includes a $10 coupon toward any in-store purchase at the studio on the day of your tour!) Registration Required.

  • July 9 (Thursday) – Thursday Night Craft & Chat
    • Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
    • Cost: FREE
    • Details: Bring your current WIP (knit, crochet, spin, weave, needle felt, etc.) and join us for a relaxed, after-hours drop-in gathering to share tour finds, swap tips, and connect with the fiber community—no registration required!

  • July 11 (Saturday) – Shepherd’s Gate Fiber Mill Tour
    • Times Available: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM or 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
    • Cost: $10 (Includes a $10 coupon toward any in-store purchase at the studio on the day of your tour!) Registration Required.

  • July 12 (Sunday) – Workshop: All About Wool (and Other Fibers) -  Thinking about purchasing fiber? Wondering how to pick out a great fleece? Want to learn the differences in wools, alpaca, llama, mohair and more. Curious about what is involved in preparing your own fleece? Should you process it yourself or send it to a mill? What are your options? 
    • Time: 2:00 PM
    • Cost: $20 Registration Required.

  • July 18 (Saturday) – Shepherd’s Gate Fiber Mill Tour
    • Times Available: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM or 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

  • July 19 (Sunday) – Workshop: Painting with Wool (Needle Felting) -  Join us in this exciting workshop and learn the basics of Needle Felting or how to “paint” and “sculpt” with wool fibers. You will learn a variety of needle felting techniques, create your very own original piece, and go home with all the materials you need to continue felting! 
    • Time: 2:00 PM
    • Cost: $40 (Materials included) Registration Required.

  • July 21 (Tuesday) – Shepherd’s Gate Fiber Mill Tour
    • Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
